Hi Julie,

Which area are you based in and are you sure that they are bumblebees? Bumblebees don’t tend to cluster in big groups as far as I am aware and are generally harmless, although you wouldn’t want them to be right outside your door. Can I suggest that you post your question, together with a photo of the bees, on the Birmingham & District Bee-Keepers Association Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/188529891299966/) and you will be sure to get a response.

Are they harmless should l leave them alone.
